The statement of purpose of the Association shall be:
- To promote the enjoyment, sailing, building, maintenance, and preservation of Herreshoff H28 yachts,
- To bring together persons who have a common interest in Herreshoff H28 yachts,
- To arrange cruises, regattas, races and other social events both on and off the water for those interested in Herreshoff H28 yachts,
- To forge links with other organisations with complementary aims, and
- To promote information exchange and good fellowship amongst those interested in Herreshoff H28 yachts.
